Nov 13, 2018 · On a 900 XP the fuel tank is under the driver's seat. Lift the seat, turn the key on and listen for a high pitched whining noise coming from the tank. If it's working the sound will only last a couple of seconds until the fuel pressure builds up and the relay cuts it off.

Starting cycling the fuel pump (key to first position but not cranking) twice before trying to start. 6. Added Battery Tender since voltage on dash display dipped to 10.8 or so when cranking (I really don't know if this is normal or not). It even started fine after sitting outside when it was 2 degrees out. Dealer told me he feels it is poorly designed system for relieving the pressure when starting the motor. When you stop the motor at just the right spot, the compression is to high for the starter, but once you bump over it, it goes just fine.2016 1000 turns over but wont start. Mar 30, 2020 · it does get spark and fuel. after hepl with troubleshooting i found the the ECM connector was burnt at the connector point. id di replace the ECM and the entire wire harness. but it did not fix it. it still cranks but will not start. when the engine cranks with the key , the engine sound good with no internal noise.

Nov 27, 2012 · While driving on the lease the other day my Ranger died and hasn't hit a lick since. I got her home checked the fuel pump, checked the fuel lines, checked the spark plug, and checked the air cleaner. I'm getting fuel getting spark and getting air but the dang thing still won't run. It sounds like you still might not be getting enough power to start the machine. If you have a charger, hook it up to the battery and turn it on and try to start it again. If it starts, you still have a weak battery. If it doesn't it might be a bad solenoid. 2016 570 RZR EPS Trail with EBS and Turf mode. Sunset Red.

Could be time to replace battery, this is most likely the culprit. These fourwheelers are very picky when it comes to low power. Nov 27, 2012 · Other option is to remove the entire clutch and housing but that is a ton of work and many members here have changed the starter without doing that. You should be able to take a small wire connected to your POSITIVE battery terminal and touch the small wire terminal from the starter on the solenoid and fire the starter up. Remember, there is also a 'engaged brake' override to the starter .. the RZR will not start without the 12V brake light signal, so make sure the brake lights are working.

From there it should hold pressure and the pump should run while cranking to keep pressure to the system. Everything could work (lights, winch, etc.) But if the volts aren't high enough it won't crank, only click. You can check fuses and relays, will be a cheaper and easier fix than a new battery.
