Jack the front end up so the radiator top is higher than the motor. Drain the radiator. Remove rad cap (cold of course). Start car with heat on full blast and fill will 1/3 coolant. Use a hose to fill the rest with water. Our coolant was down a few ounces before a recent 2000mi roadtrip. So all we did was top-up to the max line when the engine was cold. Zero coolant loss during - and after the roadtrip. No burping. Put a hose on it and guide down below in order to catch the coolant that comes out when you loosen the bleeder - 10mm.
